My Story

Early Life and Career in London

In the late 1990s, I left New Zealand for London — a city alive with energy, diversity, and opportunity. There, I worked in technology as a programmer, analyst, and trainer, supporting teams across London and Paris. While I loved the structure of my work, what truly lit me up was connecting with people.

An Adventurous Spirit

London also opened the door to adventure. I wanted more, so from gorilla trekking in Rwanda, to sailing down the Nile, to rafting in the Austrian Alps, I discovered how alive I felt when immersed in new cultures and experiences. These moments filled me with awe and reminded me of the deep beauty of our world — something I continue to carry with me today.

Returning Home & Life’s Tender Challenges

After three years abroad, I returned to Christchurch, ready to build a home and settle into the next chapter of life. But soon after, I was faced with profound loss: my mother’s sudden passing. Later, I would also walk beside my father through his journey with cancer and dementia.
Through grief and love, I learned something that sensitive people often know in their bones: that even in sorrow, there are moments of tenderness, connection, and beauty. These experiences shaped my heart and my path.

A Family Journey

Alongside these challenges, life blessed me with my husband — my partner in both play and perseverance — and later our child. Our journey into parenthood was not straightforward; we walked through fertility struggles and loss before holding our little baby in our arms. These experiences gave me an even deeper appreciation for life’s fragility, and for the resilience that comes from love.

Career & New Direction

For over 20 years I worked in sales across New Zealand and Australia, building strong, trust-filled relationships within the agricultural community. But deep down, I felt a quiet call toward something more aligned with who I truly was.
Guided by my own work with coaches and amazing supportive people, I eventually stepped into a new path: Life Coaching and Clinical Hypnotherapy. This transition felt like coming home — to my own sensitivity, intuition, and desire to help others reconnect with themselves.

Walking the Camino

In 2019, my family and I walked 800km together across Spain on the Camino de Santiago. For 53 days we lived slowly, step by step, immersed in nature, laughter, fatigue, and connection. That walk wasn’t just a journey across mountains and valleys — it was a journey inward. It deepened my belief that life is not about rushing ahead, but about being fully present with each step, each choice, and each moment.

My Philosophy

All of these experiences — the losses and joys, the careers and adventures — have shaped how I now live and work.
As a coach and hypnotherapist, I believe:
✨ Sensitivity is not a flaw — it’s a strength.
✨ Slowing down allows us to hear our inner voice more clearly.
✨ Every challenge can deepen our wisdom and compassion.
✨ We are all capable of creating the life we long for.

My mantra is simple: “You Are Your Own Creator.”

Like a compass, coaching helps you find your true direction and motivates you to keep moving forward — gently, courageously, and in your own way.
